Inspired by the Watagan Mountains rivers and forest in the Hunter Valley, this hand-made table is made from red cedar recycled from an old dining suite. It brings together some earthy elements in the stones sitting in carved pockets like eroded sand alongside a flowing river like line.
The contoured line serves as a division so that the table may be separated into two pieces making it more functional when entertaining a number of guests. The clear acrylic element under gives the table a floating effect and allows light to flood the floor underneath.
