This Huon Pine coffee table was designed to match the Hall Table. The inlayed Blackwood contoured edge matches the twin table perfectly allowing the users to either have one table or split them into two when entertaining guests.
The hand cut joints and attention to detail make the bottom shelf joinery appear seamless and there are no nails or screws used here. The leg actually passes through the shelf rail and appears impossible.
Riverstone Coffee Table
Inspired by the Watagan Mountains rivers and forest in the Hunter Valley, this hand-made table is made from red cedar recycled from an old dining suite. It brings together some earthy elements in the stones sitting in carved pockets like eroded sand alongside a flowing river like line.
The contoured line serves as a division so that the table may be separated into two pieces making it more functional when entertaining a number of guests. The clear acrylic element under gives the table a floating effect and allows light to flood the floor underneath.
