Handcrafted Bespoke Furniture Federal Courts of Australia, Sydney

The design of the suite borrows from the landscape and incorporates elements of significance to the Sydney basin in particular, without being prescriptive. The timber facades reflect the many colours in the sandstone cliffs.

The structure of the benches draws from the rowing shells inspired by the maritime history. The bronze elements also give strength to the maritime connection whilst the richness of the bronze links both metal and timber together with a common rich golden tone.

The blackwood veneers were made at our Lake Macquarie workshop and stem from the same log, acquired from Tasmania and dried in a kiln designed for this purpose.
